CB12 targets one job specifically: neutralising bad breath rather than just masking it. It uses zinc and chlorhexidine to counter the sulphur compounds behind halitosis, and in our use it delivered noticeably longer-lasting fresh breath than standard mint rinses — the effect genuinely lasts most of the day.
The trade-offs are cost and scope. It is markedly more expensive than everyday mouthwash, the taste divides opinion, and long-term daily chlorhexidine use can cause temporary staining, so it is better as a targeted rinse than an all-day habit. For persistent bad breath it is worth it; for general use it is overkill.
